Clos de l’Amandaie

Stéphanie and Philippe Peytavy founded Clos de l’Amandaie in 2002, building on six generations of family vineyards. Their cooler, north-facing slopes on the Causse d’Aumelas reveal a fresh side of the Languedoc. Organic farming, spontaneous fermentation and gentle extraction guide the work. Large clay amphorae let the fruit develop without oak flavours, while a partly underground cellar with a solar roof keeps the same thoughtful approach.
