Vinya Escudé farms 25 ha around Sant Quintí de Mediona at roughly 300 m, a cooler corner of Alt Penedès better known for Cava. The 100 % Merlot ferments with native yeast in stainless steel and is bottled young under organic certification. Bright strawberry and a floral snap offset its modest body.
