Jordi Lluch founded Vinya Escudé in Sant Quintí de Mediona in 1984 to make wine and Cava from the family’s own harvest. The organic vineyards, cellar and ageing rooms all belong to the same estate in Alt Penedès. Limestone-rich soils, cool inland nights and traditional bottle fermentation shape the Cava. Old Xarel·lo and Macabeo vines, together with long ageing on the lees, bring freshness, texture and fine bubbles.
