Koen and Anna De Backer moved from Belgium to Isola d’Asti and founded iDivini in 2018 with local oenologist Luca Voglino. Their old vines grow on chalky loam near the Tanaro, close enough to the cellar for a short journey after harvest. They work without insecticides or herbicides. Barbera, Freisa, Cortese and Pinot Nero each receive their own approach in the cellar, preserving the character of the grape.
