About

▸ 1981 vines. First Grillo Superiore.

▸ Peach. Mango. Green olive.

▸ Built for grilled swordfish.

From the Senarìa parcel inside Tenuta Gazzerotta, these 1981 Grillo vines dig into brown clay that concentrates fruit and salt. Stainless-steel vinification and four months on lees keep peach and citrus precise, giving hosts a story that moves beyond the usual Sicilian white.

Senarìa comes from 1981 Grillo vines inside Pellegrino’s Gazzerotta estate, the vineyard that earned Sicily its first and only Grillo Superiore classification. Hand-picked fruit ferments cool in steel and rests four months on fine lees; bentonite is the only fining, keeping it vegan and unoaked. Expect canned peach, saline spine and a faint toasted-almond finish.
